this was terrible

one question. If you know it sux, and you obviously didn't put any effort into it. Why upload it? It's fun to make up dumb songs while you're bored, but there is no way in hell i would waste somebodies time by uploading it. Thats my one pet-peev about New Grounds users.

theboognish responds:

yea, i regret uploading these shitty songs.

no i didn't sing and no i don't suck

once i move my computer into my basement my band will record one of our songs and upload it and than u'll be amazed

i don't suck at guitar i just cant play stuff offa the top of my head. it takes thought to make a decent song

Great stuff

I really like this song. The instruments were played so clean, it's kinda hard to tell that you did it. Good stuff. I don't know if you made the riff up or not (don't care for Dream Theatre), but it was great none-the-less.

I liked the riff

The guitar riff was crunchy and pretty heavy. I liked it. BUT the sound quality was anything but good, which is a shame because the guitar is great if only you could hear it clearly. I don't know how you recorded it but figure out what went wrong, and fix it. It would be a shame if nobody gets to hear the guitar in it's clearest. because of bad quality.

Ur4F4G responds:

yeah after listening i realized it is sucky quality i think when i converted the wav to mp3 and attempted to compress it i may have lowered the quality too much I will make some slight changes and hope it comes out better glad u liked the tune i hope to keep posting songs people on NG enjoy

should be sent to the punk section

not metal, not music. Needs to be submitted to the punk section with al of the other non-music creators. waste of time.

Well....

I couldn't really make anything except for the double bass kicking. I don't know if something went wrong with the upload, or what. The clarity is terrible. It is really muffled, low volume, and too distorted (not in the good way). From what I could here it sounds good, but the sound quality is what kills it.

no your computer just sux :P..

True, True

Not as harsh as the other dude, but the clean portion was a little repetative, and slightly out of tune. The first transission from clean to distortoin was smooth and the distortion sounded great with the multi-tracking. But the second or third transition did really sound like it fit together. THe thunder was a cool added effect but it was louder than the guitar. Have it be more of a background effect instead of a dominate effect. All in all, there were more Pros than Cons. Good job.

Metalholic115 responds:

Yeah, If I had a chance to redo the mixing/mastering of this song, It'd probably sound better.

I really like this

Alright, you totally redeemed yourself with this one. I like the distortion, and the riff is simple but heavy. You could really do some cool stuff with this. Fantastic job.

Metalholic115 responds:

Thanx again dude! :)

I liked it....

Not bad, not bad. I've heard tapping before, but hey, I can't do it. lol. No, it was pretty cool. Probably gonna be used in some action flash where one dude is kicking the shyza out of another dude. And on the other review, I meant to be funny with the whole "cat scratching at the moon...." thing. But I also feel being honest is the best way, without being a pric about it. I'm enjoying your stuff. I want more damn it!!

Metalholic115 responds:

I'm glad you enjoyed that. I'm working on some new stuff for my porject. For this, I was just kinda fooling around, because I can. Don't worry, there will be new stuff from me.

Freakin' Awesome

That was pretty darn good. The intro sounded sweet, and you wailed on the distorted portion. The only piece of criticism I had was to turn up the volume a bit on the distorted. Other than that, fantastic job. It's guitarists like you, make me wish you lived here. lol

You need to....

I like the song, but you need to turn up the volume on the drums, guitars, and a little on the bass. You can barely hear anything or make anything out unless I turn my speakers up really loud, but then it's all distorted. Good song, just "Pump Up the Volume", and you'll be set.
