Nice

Sounds pretty good. The audio quality could be better, and I really like the guitars. This would be a great flash fighter soundtrack, or on the Xombie soundtrack. Good job.

Thanks for reviewing.

Not funk but.......

You signed the petition, so thought I'd check our your profile to see if you have any songs. I like the song, but it's not really funk at all. It's more techno/trance. It's got a good beat, and I like the wind pipes and other noises. Great job.

Radant responds:

Thank you :) I appreciate your interest in my work. Yeah, I didn't know at the time where to place it, but I do now. Good luck with the petition!

Funny.....

I liked the fact that you stated you used the sound recorder. That's funny. LOL. You were right about the good riff and bad sound quality part of your comments. Here are some suggestions. Try and find a free download of ACID PRO 3.0, Cakewalk Pro, Guitar Pro, and/or Pro Tools from places like Kazaa or news groups. That way you can mix, multi-track, and get great sounding recording all the time. Great riff though. It's too bad the quality is so low.

Good, but the volume.....

What do you mean Review your stuff as well? I have Reviewed a few of your songs already. Oh well, I guess I'll do this one too.LOL. I like the song, vocals, and the riffs, BUT the volume on this is terribly low. It's quiet. It kinda scarred me, when I was done listening to this, 'cause I had to turn the volume a bit, but then I forgot I had turned it up and played my MP3s and almost jumped from my seat it was so loud. Your stuff is good, but the main problem I hear is always the volume is too low. Great song though. Probs go to the singer.

Good stuff

I noticed you have the dual basses going too. I thought I was the first to think of that. LOL. I'm listening to it right now, and I like the clarity. The riffs in it are pretty cool. THe bass is definitely a lot cleaner than my current project's. Great job, good song. Only Criticism, is you need to turn the bass up. The bass has some cool riffs, but you can't really hear them very well.

KryojenikStasis responds:

I actually got the idea from Big Bottom by Spinal Tap, and a band called Burn Guitars from NYC. This is from a demo recording we did way back when in a sub-par studio (I had to make some aftermarket adjustments to the EQ and overall level), but it came out. That bass player was 14 at the time we recorded, and he pulled that solo out of his ass. It still impresses me to this day.

Nice riff

I liked the riff a lot. The only criticism I have, is that the sound quality wasn't that great. You could defintely tell you used "sound recorder" from your computer. No biggie on that though. Just find a way to better the sound quality and such, and you're good to go! Write more songs damn it.

SeeD419 responds:

Yeah i did use the sound recorder...but thanks alot anyway man

good stuff

I took a listen and I like it. A bit repetative, but it doesn't downgrade the song at all. You made it work. Very trippy, soothing sound. Thanx for the referal. :O)

VHAERUN responds:

I think it sounds repetative because the entire song is a 2 handed tap solo. Thanks for th rave review
METAL
Mr.G

Gurgle

The drums and guitar was pretty cool. Very death metalish. The vocals however were not so death metalish. It almost sounded as if it was dust static noise like when you would used to record on a tape like 20 times over. Take off the effects and have raw growls. That's Death Metal. Great job none-the-less. I enjoyed it better than the Corpse.

CasketGrind responds:

what kind of death metal you listening to?, oh well i have to agree with you on the crappy recording. but i didnt have any affects on my growls. i only added effects to high pitch screaming, i added Echo and it sounds choppy in some places because my mic is broke :( if i move it around to much it ...fucks up.

Well..

Alright. Here is the criticism. The drums and the bass were recorded well, BUT your guitars sound like as is you were screaming into a pillow. In other words they were really muffled so it sounded like just noise. The vocals were recorded with too much bass. You want hardly any bass in the vocals and a lot of highs and mids, especially if you're going to sing through a distorted mic. It was a good song, but it's a shame you can't really tell from the recording. Nice screams though.

patrick-3005 responds:

Yes, I agree, the guitars do sound like shit on this recording. But thanks for the feedback.

Great stuff

This song is bad. Cannibal Corpse style goodness with a lot more diversity and it really bounced. Probably the best stuff I've heard on here, even better than my stuff. Kick more ass
